Families Demand Answers After Three Men Discovered Dead Where They Watched a Chiefs Game

(NationalUSNews.com) — Authorities recently found three men dead outside of a Kansas City house where they gathered to watch a Kansas City Chief’s football game. After an initial investigation, police claimed that they didn’t suspect foul play regarding the mysterious deaths, prompting the men’s families to demand answers from Kansas City authorities. All three of the men were in their thirties, and the police hadn’t disclosed an official cause of death to either the public or their families.

The three men gathered to watch an NFL game on January 7th, which featured the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Los Angeles Chargers. After the families of the three friends couldn’t get in touch with them, they became increasingly worried. Eventually, one of the men’s fiancées visited the house to find her partner. Initially, she failed to enter the house, which ultimately resulted in her breaking into it. After searching the area, she found a body on the house’s back porch and called the authorities to report the strange incident.

After police conducted a search, they recovered three different corpses, prompting outrage from the men’s families. The house’s owner told authorities that the men all died from the freezing temperatures around the home, but the victims’ families believe foul play could be involved. The police disagree and aren’t investigating the strange deaths as homicides. According to the mother of David Harrington, one of the victims, the families are furious about the lack of information surrounding their deaths.

Harrington’s mother, Jennifer Marquez, claims that none of the family members nor friends of the victims believe the authorities’ claims that foul play isn’t involved. Police said that they’re letting the medical examiner determine the official cause of death before pursuing a criminal investigation regarding the deaths. Authorities also confirmed that they haven’t made any arrests in connection with the case and that the owner of the home is cooperating with the police investigation into the incident.

The three men found on the house’s back porch are 37-year-old David Harrington, 38-year-old Ricky Johnson, and 36-year-old Clayton McGenney. Police found each of the men’s bodies in the house’s backyard and uncovered no evidence of violence or foul play surrounding the deaths. One of Johnson’s relatives established a GoFundMe to pay for his funeral, and each of the victims’ families shared their collective grief about the bizarre deaths.
