Former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson Will Run for President

(NationalUSNews.com) – Former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson revealed that he will join the list of Republican candidates running for President of the United States in 2024.

Hutchinson has recognized that American politics is in a situation that needs a stable Commander in Chief who will put the Office of President on the pedestal it deserves. His decision to run for the nation’s highest position comes after six months traveling the country trying to discern exactly what Americans want in their next President.

To Hutchinson, it is clear that citizens want to elect someone who can lead the country in a way that emphasizes the greatest qualities in America. He expressed clear confidence that he would be the right person for the job, and added the hope that his “message of experience, of consistent conservatism and hope for our future” will get the attention of the country and raise awareness of his candidacy and his ability to be successful in the nation’s highest position.Later this month, on April 26, Hutchinson will use his home turf of Bentonville, Arkansas, to make the formal announcement of his presidential bid. Hutchinson, 72, was born in Bentonville and also practiced law there before his 8 years as Governor of Arkansas. He was a U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas under former President Ronald Reagan, and served as head of the Drug Enforcement Administration under former President George W. Bush, but he hopes his authentic faith and love for his family will be the qualities that shine through and make him relatable to voters.

Out of respect for the Office of President, Hutchinson would like to see Trump withdraw from the race due to his recent criminal indictment, even though he is not required to do so at this time. Hutchinson stressed the importance of allowing the justice system to work as it was designed, and the election process to be free from distractions.
