Jack Dorsey Shines Spotlight On Kennedy Jr. Over Biden

(NationalUSNews.com) — Former CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey has made headlines by endorsing Robert F. Kennedy Jr, a Democratic presidential candidate who seeks to secure the Democratic nomination for the 2024 election. Dorsey is a billionaire worth over $4 billion dollars, and has been publicly vocal about his support for President Biden in the past. Dorsey even endorsed Biden publicly before the 2020 election, in a highly controversial move that caused Twitter to be seen as politically biased to some. Dorsey has seemingly changed his stance in recent memory, as he’s now supporting one of the few Democratic candidates who seek to challenge President Biden for the nomination in the Democratic primary. Kennedy has made headlines in the past for his various beliefs, many of which are deemed controversial as they aren’t in line with the mainstream liberal stance on many topics like vaccines. Despite this controversial stance it seems as though Dorsey believes in Kennedy, as he’s become the latest billionaire to make their endorsement for a 2024 candidate known.

Current Twitter CEO Elon Musk also made his endorsement of a presidential candidate known, when he backed Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and even cohosted DeSantis’ campaign launch event. Musk was being touted as an avid Trump supporter due to his decision to unban Trump’s Twitter account, but soon after the reversed decision Musk explicitly stated he’d vote for Ron DeSantis. With support from a major social media personality like Twitter, it seems as though DeSantis will be a contender for the Republican nomination, and will likely face off against whichever Democratic candidate ends up winning the primary. Trump was the initial favorite for the Republican nominee, but his chances continue to seem less likely as he’s facing legal battles that will unfold in the midst of primary season.

Trump’s criminal trial will begin on March 25, 2024, which is right in the middle of primary season. Due to his ongoing legal battles and continued issues with federal legal officials, it seems as though Trump will have an incredibly difficult time securing the nomination in the 2024 election.
