Lara Trump Shares Intentions To Use “Massive Resources” At The RNC

( — At the Republican National Committee (RNC) spring training gathering on Friday, March 9, Michael Whatley and Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, were formally established as the chair and co-chair of the RNC. Their elevation to these roles comes after the niece of Republican Senator Mitt Romney, Ronna McDaniel, and her co-chair, Drew McKissick, resigned their positions. Their resignations came after long criticism of lukewarm fund-raising and not being aggressive enough in supporting election integrity.

For Lara Trump, election integrity is a crucial issue. While the claims of election interference during the 2020 election have not been proven to have been widespread enough to have changed the outcome, there have been instances of mistakes and possible tampering that have cast doubt on the integrity of the process. There are still investigations and lawsuits ongoing regarding that election.

With a recent influx of undocumented immigrants flooding into the country and some Democrats pushing for non-citizen voting, the Republican party has made preserving the citizen privilege of voting one of their central tenets. There are currently 17 municipalities that allow some noncitizens to vote in American elections.

Asserting that the sanctity of the American voting system is a top priority, Lara Trump and Whatley have created an election integrity division for the RNC. In an interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, Lara Trump said there are three pillars that the RNC needs to concentrate on to ensure their success, including fundraising, getting voters to the polls, and, at the top, ensuring election integrity. She added that without trust in the electoral process, it is difficult to inspire voters to participate because they may feel their votes don’t matter if they are not confident there is no fraud occurring.

The election integrity committee will be using “massive” resources to mobilize a nationwide network of volunteers as trained poll watchers, poll observers, poll workers, and tabulation center personnel. In a recent interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Lara Trump discussed the importance of the RNC focusing all their efforts on getting Donald Trump re-elected. She mentioned “Get Out the Vote” efforts, voter registration, and legal ballot harvesting as important tactics for the Republicans to win this November.
