Claims of Excellent Health

The former president didn’t shy away from boasting about his health status. Trump claimed to have received a “perfect score” on a recent medical exam and stated he “aced” two cognitive tests. He went further, suggesting that all presidential candidates, regardless of age, should undergo cognitive testing.

“And one of the doctors said, ‘I’ve never seen that before, where you get everything right.’ No, I have no problem. I’d go a step further, I think anybody that runs for president, whether they’re 75 or 65 or 45, I think should take a cognitive test,” Donald Trump, as reported by CBS.

This isn’t the first time Trump has released medical information. During his 2016 presidential campaign, his personal physician, Dr. Harold Bornstein, stated that Trump was in “excellent physical health.” The report at that time showed normal cholesterol and blood sugar levels, with Trump taking Crestor for cholesterol and a low-dose aspirin.
